DIALOGUE BETWEEN FAS AND REGIONS CONTINUES
Andrey Tsyganov discussed execution of the National Competition Development Plan with representatives of regional authorities and foreign investment measures across regions
On 11 December 2018, Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov took part in Speed Networking business meetings at the “100 steps to a favourable investment climate” Conference.
The theme of the business meetings was “new approaches to interaction between business and the authorities as a means for improving business climate in the region. During 7–minute communications, Deputy Head of FAS gave information about FAS projects of interest to the participants and FAS objectives, consulted representatives of business, development institutions and regional authorities about problematic aspects.
With representatives of Yakutia Government and Pskov Government Andrey Tsyganov discussed the progress and results of implementing the National Competition Development Plan and preparing a list of the main indicators for competition development in regions and the planned events.
He reported that following the instructions from Head of FAS Igor Artemiev, that in 2019 his Deputies and specialists would visit regions that had signed Agreements on Cooperation with FAS in order to discuss the results of pursing the National Competition Development Plan and consult regarding any issues emerging in the course of implementing it.
Representatives of the Office of the Government of the Kaliningrad region at the Government of the Russian Federation showed an interest to FAS foreign investment projects.
Andrey Tsyganov informed about the Expert Council on foreign investments formed by FAS an invited the colleagues to attend its next meeting on 20 December 2018.
Representatives of the Federal Treasury, the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, Rosreestr [the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartogrphy], the Industry Development Fund, the Russian Export Centre, “Sberbank” PJSC. “VEB.RF”, “Aeroflot” PJSC, “MegaFon” PJSC and others also took part in the business meetings.
