FAS AND THE CORPORATE CONSEL ASSOCIATION DRAFTED EXPLANATIONS OF FAS PRESIDIUM

Draft Explanations are devised for unified application of antimonopoly law when analyzing the state of competition

On 14 February 2019, the Methodological Council approved the Draft Explanations of FAS Presidium “On particular aspects of analyzing the state of competition”, devised by FAS and the “Corporate Counsel Association” Non-Profit Partnership.

“It was already the second meeting of the Methodological Council on the Draft Explanations. The document was refined in view of the comments and suggestions made by FAS specialists and the Association. The Draft Explanations supplements the earlier issued Explanations on applying the antimonopoly law in view of mandatory analysis of the state of competition in the course of investigating cases on violating the antimonopoly law and must be applied in totally with them”, explained Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov. “In the near future the Explanations will be presented to FAS Presidium for consideration and discussion with representatives of the Corporate Counsel Association”.
