ANNOUNCEMENT: UNCTAD COVID-19 WEBINAR WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 3, 2020

The FAS Russia will share its experience in antimonopoly regulation during COVID-19 with foreign colleagues

UNCTAD Webinar «Competition Policy in Times of COVID19: Is there a role for International Cooperation?» will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2020 at 14:00 Geneva Time (15:00 Moscow Time).
 
Introduction will feature Teresa Moreira, Head of the UNCTAD Competition Law and Policy and Consumer Protection Branch, giving opening remarks which will follow with a panel discussion by representatives from Albania, Brazil, Indonesia and South Africa. Question and answer session will follow with commentators from Austria, Japan, Russia and the United States of America.

Andrey Tsyganov, Deputy Head of the FAS Russia, will share experience of the FAS Russia in implementation of advocacy initiatives and «soft law» for stabilization of market situation, as well as discuss significance of international cooperation during pandemic.

Deputy Head of the FAS Russia took part in two video conferences (May 11 and 27) organized in preparation to the UNCTAD Webinar, where together with colleagues from Austria, Brazil, USA, South Africa and Japan he discussed agenda and format of the upcoming webinar.
