A NEW BASIS FOR THE SUPPLY OF LIQUEFIED CARBOHYDRATE GASES (LHCG) IS NOW OPERATING IN THE TYUMEN REGION
On January 10, 2022, the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange JSC launched the exchange trading of LHCG on the new basis of supply “Voynovka” (Tyumen region).
It became possible due to the joint work of the FAS Russia with the participants of the petroleum products market and SPIMEX JSC.
In the period from January 10 to January 17 of this year, the volume of trading on the exchange of liquefied petroleum gases amounted to 2,701 tons.
The formation of a new basic pricing point “Voynovka” along with another “Surgut” basis created conditions for increasing the supply of LHCG from several sellers. This increases the level of competition among manufacturers and will have a positive economic effect for end consumers.
The implementation of LHCG on the basis of “Voynovka” with the potential participation of at least 3 sellers contributes to the formation of a liquid exchange price for LCG.
An important point is a single transparent tariff grid for calculating the price from Voynovka to the buyer's destination station, which provides additional confidence to all participants in the process from possible abuse and discrimination.
