“On Fisheries and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources”

Article 14.1. Protection of Competition in the Sphere of Fisheries and Conservation of

Aquatic Biological Resources

(introduced by the Federal Law of 06.12.2007 N 333-FL).

1. Monopolistic activity and unfair competition in fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources are not allowed.

2. The Federal executive bodies, state bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation, bodies of local self-government, as well as organizations, exercising functions of the indicated bodies, are forbidden to adopt acts and (or)execute actions (inactions), conclude agreements or take concerted actions in fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources, which result or may result in the prevention, restriction or elimination of competition, including by creating more favorable terms for certain natural persons, juridical persons in comparison with other natural persons, juridical persons.

3. The state control over economic concentration in fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources is exercised in accordance with the Federal Law of July 26, 2006 N 135-FL “On Protection of Competition”.
