A new, No. 17 issue of the research-to-practice electronic journal of the Federal Antimonopoly Service: “Russian Competition Law and Economy” includes papers written by representatives of the antimonopoly authority and Russian universities on particular aspects of antimonopoly regulation in different sectors of the economy: financial markets, housing and electric power markets, as well as pricing methodology in public defence procurement.
In the opinion of the editorial board, the readership may be especially interested in a set of materials that marks the 25th anniversary of antimonopoly regulation in Russia: “25 Antimonopoly Cases on Financial Markets” by Olga Sergeeva, the Head of FAS Department for Control over Financial Markets, and her co-author, Irina Smirnova, Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over Financial Markets.
A special section of the journal focuses on counteracting cartels and analyzing the enforcement practice for violations of the antimonopoly law.
