Dagestan State University opened a Department of Antimonopoly Regulation

On 15 July 2016 the Head of Dagestan OFAS Kurban Kubasaev and Rector of Dagestan State University, Murtazali Rabadanov, signed an Agreement on Cooperation between the University and Dagestan OFAS and an Agreement to form a Department of Antimonopoly Regulation atDagestan State University.  Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Kashevarov also took part in the signing ceremony.

The Department of Antimonopoly Regulation is linked to the Departments already established at three faculties: Civil Law Department at the Law Faculty; Audit and Economic Analysis at the Faculty of Economics; and the Department of Legal Support of Public Administration at the Faculty of Public Administration.

The parties expressed a unanimous hope that the new will help solving an issue of training staff for the Antimonopoly Service in the Republic and strengthen the work towards developing competition.
