Olga Franskevich shred secrets of bid-rigging exposure with journalists

Deputy Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department, Olga Franskevichgave a lecture on cartel-combating practice tothe journalists of local and regional mediawho participated in the “Tavrida-2016” All-Russian Youth Educational Forum”.

The lecture of FAS representative was in the bloc of lecturers on combating inefficient government spending. Olga Franskevichinformed participants about the modern methods of bid-rigging exposure, approaches of the antimonopoly body to proving antimonopoly agreements at Courts and statutory liability for creating and participating in cartels.

“Professional journalism today is an important part of public control over the authorities. Many young journalists present at the lecture are sound in the specifics of competitive bidding in the regions, and are actively involved in discussing the issues”, pointed out Olga Franskevich after the event.
