Exchange trading with mineral fertilizers will exist

FAS representatives took part in a meeting on organizing exchange trading with mineral fertilizers

Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over Chemical Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex, Sergey Vershinin and Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over Financial Markets, Alexander Razin, participated in a meeting of members of Russian Association of Fertilizers Manufacturers (RAPU) with representatives of “SPIMEX” JSC to discuss organizing exchange trading with mineral fertilizers.

FAS executives outlined the goals and objectives of the project on launching trading with mineral fertilizers at Russian exchange, including a representative and transparent price indicator. Speakers also discussed the expected regulatory work related to organizing and developing such trading.

As a result of the meeting, the decision was made to start working on launching exchange trading. To this purpose, by 15 February 2017 a complete list of questions that participants of the mineral fertilizers market have about organizing exchange trading should be compiled for further discussions.
