FAS opened an administrative case against Russian office of “Deloitte”
On 15 May 2017, FAS opened administrative proceedings against “Deloitte and Tuche CIS” CJSC – Russian representative office of an international audit company “Deloitte”.
In March 2017, investigating an antimonopoly case “on a bid-rigging cartel for “Vybory” state automated system”, FAS requested information required to conduct a comprehensive investigation. The company failed to submit such data.
Under the Code on Administrative Violations (Article 19.8), the company can be fined up to 500,000 RUB.
“Hopefully, the company will execute a reasonable request of the antimonopoly body under the administrative proceedings and submit the required documents and information, pointed out Deputy Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department, Andrey Tenishev.
In 2016 FAS opened an antimonopoly case against computer equipment vendors – “Business Computers Group” Ltd., “AMI-NETWORK” Ltd., “KROK Incorporated” CJSC, “Superwave Group” Ltd., “Craftway Corporation PLC” CJSC, “Aquarius production Company” Ltd. - for violating Clause 2 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
FAS suspects that the companies concluded an anticompetitive agreement in the course of a tender for supplying computer equipment for the “Federal Informatization Centre at the Central Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation”, the Federal State Statistical Service, “Infogorod” State Budgetary Enterprise, and “Norilsk Nickel” MMC.
At the end of March 2017 FAS brought Russian offices of American “HP” and “Lenovo” of China as respondents to the case.
