FAS suspects that the company fixed monopolistically high price for SKB-30R synthetic rubber in Q I 2016 supplied under public defence procurement
The Antimonopoly Service received a complaint from “Uralelastotkhnika” CJSC about actions undertaken by “Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant” OJSC. The claimant stated that in 2016 the Kazan Plan had increased the SKB-30R rubber price fourfold in breach of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”[1] as well as the Federal Law “On Public Defence Procurement” in the part of pricing.
“Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant” OJSC is the only supplier of SKB-30R rubber price in the world.
The case is scheduled on 5 September 2017.
