11 warnings to Makhachkala Authority
Warnings by Dagestan OFAS are designed to stop actions with signs of violating the antimonopoly law
On 5 July 2017 Dagestan OFAS issued 11 warnings to Makhachkala Authority to stop actions with signs of violating the antimonopoly law.
A scheduled inspection of Makhachkala Authorityby Dagestan OFAS exposed signs of violating Articles 15 and 19 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. In breach of the land, urban development and the antimonopoly law, the City Authority changed the types of using 8 land plots (the total area - 5766 m³.) The plots are mainly allocated for construction of individual residential houses, and then the Mayor’s Office changed the types of using them for constructing multi-storey apartment blocks.
Makhachkala Authorityprovided for lease three land plots for the overall area7678 m³.
According to the warnings, by 19 July Makhachkala Authorityshould stop actions that have signs of violating the antimonopoly law, abolishing orders on changing the types of permitted use and leasing the above land plots.
Failure to execute the warning should result in Dagestan OFAS opening antimonopoly cases against the municipality.
