FAS warned several foreign companies that unreasonably restricting entry of imported goods in Russia is unacceptable
Warnings to "Daimler А.G.", "KYB Corporation", “Renault а.с.” and “YD-Diagnostics” are issued upon the fact of unreasonably restricting entry of goods to Russia under their brands by businessmen that are not officials dealers of the right-holders.
On 14 July 2017 FAS issued warnings to "Daimler А.G." (Germany), "KYB Corporation" (Japan), “Renault а.с.” (France) and “YD-Diagnostics” (South Korea) to stop violating the antimonopoly law upon the fact of unreasonably restricting entry of goods to Russia under their brands by businessmen that are not official dealers of the right-holders.
Earlier FAS received statements from a number of independent importers that their attempts to agree upon a possibility to import goods of these companies (car components and medical products) to the Russian Federation had been unreasonably refused or the right-holders had not consider their requests. Having completed the investigation, FAS found elements of unfair competition by foreign companies in the market.
Failure to execute the warnings for 30 days after issuing will lead to opening cases against the companies upon signs of violating the antimonopoly law.
