Kurgan garment factory failed to challenge a cartel fine

Moscow Arbitration Court confirmed legitimacy of holding “Kurgan Garment Factory” Ltd. administratively liable and imposing a 1,529,920 RUB fine
Earlier FAS exposed an unprecedented cartel with a record number of participants (more than 09 economic entities were found guilty). The Court of First Instance also supported the decision of the antimonopoly authority.
In total, cartel participants were fined over 606 million RUB.
Andrey Tenishev, Head of FAS Anti-Cartel department, pointed out: “Recognizing legitimacy of FAS injunction by the once againemphasizes efficiency of FAS work aimed at suppressing and prevent anticompetitive agreements and saving considerable budgetary funds”.
