Vitaly Korolev: FAS agenda include unification of the rules for connection to utility resources
Deputy Head of FAS clarified that laws and regulations are adopted to set unified standardized rate for technological connection to electric power networks in every Russian region
On 27 October 2017 Deputy Head of FAS Vitaly Korolev took part and was a speaker at the Round Table of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation devoted to development of unified rules for determining the costs of technological connection of capital construction facilities to utility networks in Russian regions.
Attendees included representatives of legislatures, federal and regional executive bodies, energy and utility companies.
The Round Table discussed the course of an experiment to transfer applications filing for technological connection in the electronics form in three Russian regions – Moscow, the Moscow region and St Petersburg and standardizing them.
“Unification of the rules for connection to utility resources is important and it is on the FAS agenda. Today the necessary laws and regulations are adopted to set unified standardized rates for technological connection to electric power networks in every subject of the Russian Federation”, clarified Vitaly Korolev. “We are working on unification of connection procedures in all fields of resource provision, which will considerably simplify and cheapen access to the infrastructure both new construction facilities and expanding capacity of consumed resources by the existing customers”.
