Crimea OFAS did not allow to reduce the number of ferries on Kerch ferry crossing
Earlier, the operator of Kerch ferry crossing sent letters to two vessel owners requesting them to temporarily suspend operations. It created discriminatory conditions for the participants of the market of passenger and vehicle transportation services
On 31 October 2017, Crimea and Sebastopol OFAS issued a warning to the operator of Kerch ferry crossing – “Sea Directorate” Ltd. to stop actions that had elements of breaching the antimonopoly law.
Crimea OFAS established that “Sea Directorate” Ltd. requested owners of “Chapichev Major” and “Glifikous III” ferries to stop operations for a month.
Upon an inspection, Crimea OFAS found that the operator of Kerch ferry crossing had created discriminatory conditions for two entities on the markets of passenger and vehicle transportation services, and issued a warning to the violator of the antimonopoly law.
On 31 October 2017, “Sea Directorate” Ltd. reported to OFAS on executing the warning and published the relevant information on its official web-site.
