WARNINGS ISSUED TO EXECUTIVES OF “ATOMSTROICOMPLEX” AND “MAYAK”

Sverdlovsk OFAS found that public statements of corporate representatives have signs of breaching the antimonopoly law

A representatives of “Atomstroicomplex” Corporation” JSC reported in an article “A developer is not a magician, he must find money somewhere”, published on the E1.RU portal – https://www.e1.ru/news/, about a planned conduct on the market: “Objectively, market prices will grow”.

In an article “The strongest will survive under new conditions” how the rules of the game are going to change on the market of new housing development in Yekaterinburg”, an executive of “Mayak” Corporation” Ltd., also published on a Yekaterinburg city portal E1.RU, informed about a planned conduct on the market: “at the beginning of 2019 primary housing prices will lunge up”.

Governed by Article 25.7 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, Sverdlovsk OFAS issued warnings to the executives of the companies to restrain from the planned actions (omissions) since such conduct can lead to violating Article 11.1 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” that bans concerted actions of economic entities that restrict competition.
