PAYAL MALIK ABOUT COMMON PROBLEMS IN BRICS MARKETS

Head of the Economic Division of the Competition Commission of India, Payal Malik, outlined general problems in the markets in the BRICS economies and shared her expectations of the VI BRICS Competition Conference that takes place in Moscow in September 2019.

“Exchanging ideas, describing different markets are essential since it gives views on the issue from various angles and prospects, which can be rather different from the European ones. It is not possible to name just the single key common problem, we have several similar issues. Medicinal drug availability is our common problem. Digital monopolies also are our common problem as digital monopolies, transnational corporations, including Chinese companies managed to take the leading positions on digital markets”, said Payal Malik in her interview.
