FAS LAUNCHES THEMED PROGRAMME IN “ARTEK” CAMP

This year, the FAS once again launches themed educational programme in the “Artek” youth camp: “The economy of the future: fair competition”

 

During this period the participants will learn about the meaning of competition and the role that FAS plays in it, the basic principles of fair competition and reasons to observe it, the treats of cartels and possible harm to competition from the authorities; the foundations of antimonopoly and tariff regulations the laws on procurement and advertising, and much more.

 

The program also involves various situational and business games aimed at developing analytical skills and leadership qualities.

 

The entry requirements: age 15 - 17 inclusive; pupils of secondary schools, 9-11 forms.

 

The participant will be selected on a competitive basis in three stages:

 

Stage 1. Registration by 31 July 2019. The applicants should fill in applications forms; and submit an essay or projects on one of the themes – “The role of competition in market economy” or “Antimonopoly regulation and competition development”. They should also supply information showing achievements (diplomas, certificates, letters of merits and acknowledgments for achievements in humanities and arts, public, research, projects or creative fields) and a letter of recommendation from the school.

 

Stage 2. Selection by 31 August.

 

The Commission will evaluate the materials and complete the list of applicants that meet the requirements. A registered electronic certificate will be issued to those who pass.

 

Stage 3. Registration in the “Voucher” Automated Information System

 

After receiving the e-certificate, the applicants should register in the “Voucher” Automated Information System on the web-site артек.дети/auth.

 

Participation is free; participants will cover only the return trip to Simpheropol.
