PENZA GOVERNOR IVAN BELOZERTSEV DISCUSSED THE EXPERIENCE OF THE PENZA REGION

Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev gave an interview about the experience of the Penza region in implementing the National Competition Development Plan and support of small and medium companies.

He said in the interview that in 2018 the regional authorities had committed 29% less violations of the antimonopoly law and the share of small and medium companies involved in procurement had increased.

“It is essential that an integrated approach to pursuing the National Plan helps us save budgetary funds. For instance, saving form competitive procedures in 2018 reached 776.67 million RUB. These funds can be used for other purposes, for example, construction or repair of socially important facilities which is vital for the region”, stated the Governor.
