Such violations are punishable by fines from 50 000 to 500 000 RUB. Recidivism can lead to the maximum administrative sanctions.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service opened administrative proceedings against “Nova-Group” Ltd., “Fuel Management” Ltd., “Primorie Oil Terminal” Ltd., “Belaya Zvezda” Ltd. and “Atlant-Oil” Ltd. for failure of economic entities to  submit the requested information to the antimonopoly body.

The information was requested in the course of investigating an antimonopoly case upon signs of a cartel in public procurement of a wide range of goods: petrochemicals, cable “products, sheet steel, fire-extinguishing equipment, table salt, etc. The companies, however, failed to submit the requested documents that were necessary for full and comprehensive investigation of the case and did not give any reasonable explanations as to why they could not execute the requests of FAS Commission.

Earlier, following unscheduled inspections, “Atlant-Oil” Ltd., “Belaya Zvezda” Ltd. and “Nova-Group” Ltd. were already held liable for similar violations.
