“Creating fair competitive environment is a mandatory condition for economic and technological development. The Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District is always open to cooperation and experience exchange. I’d like to thank our local OFAS that understands our regional specifics. We have established good, constructive work”, emphasizesDmitry Artyukhov.

The Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Districtis mainstreaming the Road Map that was drafted based on a new version of the Competition Development Standard for the subjects of the Russian Federation. In particular, it concerns application of the updated Guidelines for estimating the key targets.

Earlier the Government of the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Districtde termined the list of 33 markets and the key targets.

“Each region is unique in its own way. Therefore, from our side FAS is ready to give the necessary support both in mainstreaming the Road Map and its further fulfillment, maintaining, at the same time, the regional distinctness”, highlighted Daniil Fesyuk. “Our task is to be involved as partners in achieving the objectives, set by the Government, synchronize the necessary processes and, perhaps, FAS can give an additional impulse for developing competition in the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District”.

The intermediary report on mainstreaming Road Maps must be presented to the Office of the President of Russia by 1 October 2019.
