DANIIL FESYUK: RESULTS OF FULFILLING THE NATIONAL PLAN WILL BE EVALUATED BY CONSUMERS
The Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District is mainstreaming the Road Map for competition development
Deputy Head of FAS Daniil Fesyuk and Governor of the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District, Dmitry Artyukhov, had a working meeting in Salekhard. The parties discussed competition development in the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District.
“Competition benefits the society when all interested parties work in synergy, when their views and actions match. It is very rewarding to see that today, executing the Road Map through joint efforts, we, finally, have moved away from a popular opinion that competition development is a job only for particular bodies”, saysDaniil Fesyuk. “Furthermore, the results of our collaboration will ultimately be evaluated by the most severe critic – the society, the people, to satisfy whose needs the National Competition Development Plan was devised”.

The Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Districtis mainstreaming the Road Map that was drafted based on a new version of the Competition Development Standard for the subjects of the Russian Federation. In particular, it concerns application of the updated Guidelines for estimating the key targets.
Earlier the Government of the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Districtde termined the list of 33 markets and the key targets.
“Each region is unique in its own way. Therefore, from our side FAS is ready to give the necessary support both in mainstreaming the Road Map and its further fulfillment, maintaining, at the same time, the regional distinctness”, highlighted Daniil Fesyuk. “Our task is to be involved as partners in achieving the objectives, set by the Government, synchronize the necessary processes and, perhaps, FAS can give an additional impulse for developing competition in the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous District”.
The intermediary report on mainstreaming Road Maps must be presented to the Office of the President of Russia by 1 October 2019.
