A 3.4 BILLION CASE AGIANST A ROAD CARTEL

This is a provisional sum of the contracts concluded in the course of an anticompetitive agreement

FAS opened a case against “Nizhavtodorstroi” Ltd., “Magistral” Ltd., “YaKK” Trade-and-Production Company” Ltd., ‘Resursy” Ltd., “Avtodorstroi” Ltd., “NIZHEGORODAVTODOR” Ltd., “Dorozhnik” Ltd., “Constructiv Construction Company” Ltd., “Tekhstroi” Ltd., and “premier” Ltd. upon elements of a cartel at a road construction auction (Clause 2 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”).

The case was opened upon materials of the “For Fair Procurement” Project of the All-Russia People’s Front.

Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department Andrey Tenishev emphasized the high quality of FAS efforts to find out elements of violations and prepare case materials: “Interaction between FAS and the All-Russia People’s Front has long reached a completely new level. A lot of cartels have been exposed based on preliminary investigations by the “For Fair Procurement” Project of the All-Russia People’s Front”.
