UDMURTIA WILL HAVE A DIGITAL PLATFORM TO SUPPORT SMALL AND MEDIUM COMPANIES
Udmurtia will devise this programme as part of the measures of its updated Road Map for competition development
In October 2019 Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov approved an updated Road Map for competition development in the Republic in line with the Regulations*.
For instance, Udmurtia will have a digital platform for informational support of production and sales operation of small and medium business.
Head of FAS Legal Department Artem Molchanov emphasized: “One of the main goals of the National Competition Development Plan is to ensure sustainable growth and advancement of mixed economy, which is impossible without increasing the share of small and medium business in the Russian economy”.
Udmurtia’s Road Map has four parts: an Action Plan to develop competition in different sectors of the economy, systemic measures, the key targets, and procedures concerning the state of competition on the markets of goods, works, and services. For example, by 2022 Udmurtia intends to increase the number of private companies in road operations by 30%, from 50% to 80%.
The updated Road Map covers 33 markets. The main goals of the Road Map concern identifying potential for developing the economy of Udmurtia, establishing a transparent system of work of the authorities in the part of efficient measures towards competition development in the interests of consumers, enhancing the quality of goods and services, increasing accessibility of financial services for participants of economic operations.
