FAS APPROVED ANTIMONOPOLY COMPLIANCE FOR “BARRY CALLEBAUT NL RUSSIA” AND “INFORM-PROM”

The companies drafted it to execute orders issued by the antimonopoly body

Earlier FAS allowed a petition of “Barry Callebaut NL Russia” Ltd. on acquiring 100% voting shares of “Inform-Prom” CJSC and issued an order to exercise actions designed to support competition on the market of chocolate mass.

According to the order, companies must, in particular, to draft antimonopoly policies, i.e., formalize the main measures in their in-house documents undertaken by the companies tor educe the risks and prevent violations of the antimonopoly law.

Head of FAS Department for Control over the Agro-Industrial Complex, Anna Mirochinenko, commented: “Antimonopoly compliance presented to FAS includes legal and organizational measures designed to observe the antimonopoly law by the companies’ staff. It will allow in the future minimizing the risks of violating the antimonopoly law. Now, in accord with the same order, the companies must publish the documents approved by FAS on their web-sites within 20 working days”.
