DEPUTY HEAD OF FAS RACHIK PETROSYAN STEPS DOWN
And is appointed Director of Digital transformation at Rostec State Corporation
Rachik Petrosyan is relieved of the position as Deputy Head of FAS due to a transfer to another office (No. 2840-r Order of the Government of Russia of 28.11.2019). He is appointed Director for Digital Transformation at Rostec State Corporation.
Being Deputy Head of FAS, Rachik Petrosyan transferred all open procurement procedures in the electronic form, and provided support to small and medium business at procurement by state companies. He enabled transition of the procedures for allocating aquatic biological water resources in competitive electronic form as well as adopting and implementing a new mechanism of administrative appeal in the construction sector.
As Director for Digital Transformation at Rostec State Corporation, Rachik Petrosyan will be responsible for developing and pursuing the Digital Transformation Strategy, achieving all goals set in the “Digital Economy” National Project, collaborating with the regulators and the business community, synchronizing IT-systems of Rostec and its entities, developing participation and competences of Rostec and its partners in digital products and other spheres.
Background:
In 2002 graduated from Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman, specializing in Automated Data Processing and Management Systems. In 2007 completed training at Russian Presidential Academy of Public Administration, specializing in Law.
Rachik Petrosyan joined the Federal Antimonopoly Service in 2005. In 2007 was appointed Deputy Head of the Department for Control over Public Procurement; in 2009 – Head of FAS Department for Control over the Housing-and-Utilities Sector and Natural Resources.
On 12 December 2011 transferred to the position of Acting Head of Moscow OFAS.
On 17 February 2012 appointed Head of Moscow OFAS. On 26 April 2016, Rachik Petrosyan became Deputy Head of FAS.
