FAS AND OPORA RUSSIA ARE DRAFTING 2021-2025 NATIONAL COMPETITON DEVELOPMENT PLAN
The decision was made at a meeting held by the antimonopoly body.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss problems and threats for developing small and medium business, working out the key goals and approaches for improving eh business environment.
“Together with “OPORA Russia”, FAS is drafting 2021-2025 National Competition Development Plan, the main provisions of which should create conditions for increasing the number of small and medium companies, the number of people employed in this sector of the economy, guarantee possibility to operate on competitive markets, for small and medium companies”, concluded Head of FAS Fiscal Control Department Vladimir Mishelovin.
FAS Legal Department was one of the initiators of the meetings. Head of FAS Legal Department, Artem Molchanov pointed out that FAS expects clear goal-setting from the collaboration with “OPORA Russia” as well as suggestions on specifics actions to carry out in 2021 – 2025, which will enable high-quality changes in the economy in Russia at the national and regional levels.
“We should come up with the basic rationale in sectoral and territorial aspects. We are confident that businessmen know best that and how should be done by the federal and regional authorities to create a favourable competitive environment”, said Head of FAS Legal Department, Artem Molchanov.
