MIKAIL GOIGOV IS APPOINTED HEAD OF TRANS-BAIKAL OFAS

The new Head of the regional antimonopoly body took office on 13 January 2020 following an order issued by Head of FAS Igor Artemiev

Mikail Goigov’s appointed took place after his candidature had been approved by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far East Federal District, Yuri Trutnev.

Mikail Goigov graduated from Ingushetia State University in 2001. He’s been with the antimonopoly bodies since 2006. In the 14-year period, he has worked his way up from a 1-rank specialist in Ingushetia and Chechnya Department of Rostov OFAS to Deputy Head of Chechnya OFAS.

In 2014 Mikail Goigov received commendation from Head of the antimonopoly authority “In recognition of providing freedom of competition and efficient enterprise protection”, and in 2016 he was awarded III Degree FAS Medal “For Distinguished Service”.

Deputy Head of FAS, Alexei Dotsenko emphasized: “Mikail Goigov demonstrated high results working in the “Efficient personnel pool” of the antimonopoly body. He is also a finalist of a FAS in-house project on building up a team of positive changes leaders #LeadersFAS. His appointment to the position of Head of Trans-Baikal OFAS underlines the credence given to him by the senior officials of the antimonopoly authority, highlighting the contribution of Mikail Goigov in developing the Antimonopoly Service and competition. We hope that his knowledge, leadership skills and result-oriented performance will facilitate efficient fulfillment of the goals and objectives facing the regional antimonopoly office that is now put in his hands”.
