FAS APPROVED A TIME-TABLE OF PUBLIC DISCUSSIONS WITH SUBORDINATED SUBJECTS FOR 2020

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) participates in a reform of control-and-supervising activities

Modernization of the state control system is aimed at decreasing administrative burden upon business, enhancing the quality of control-and-supervisory functions and reducing damages to competition caused by violating the law.

Public discussions of law enforcement practices are the main form of prophylactics.

№ 151/20 FAS Order of 19.02.2020 approved the Time-Table for public events of the Central Office and regional Offices of the Federal Antimonopoly Service with subordinated subjects for 2020. It should be pointed out that the Time-Table can be modified.

In accord with the departmental programme of prophylactics, the Antimonopoly Service organizes quarterly thematic public discussions engaging the staff of sectoral structural units. In 2019 there were a number of public events concerning antimonopoly regulation, anticompetitive agreements, unfair competition, auctions and tenders, public procurement procedures and procurement by state-run companies, the housing-and-utilities complex, conformance with the law on advertising, etc.
