FAS ANNOUNCED A THEMATIC CONTEST AT THE “ARTEK” INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S CENTRE
The Federal Antimonopoly Service had announced a contest for taking part in a thematic educational programme – “Economy of the Future – Fair Competition” in the “Artek” International Children’s Centre.
The contest is for schoolchildren aged 11 - 17 inclusive, who study at 5 - 11 forms of the secondary comprehensive school during the academic year.
The contest has several mandatory stages, when applicants will be executing particular tasks, including essays on the following topics: “The role of competition in the market economy”, “Antimonopoly regulation and development of competition”, “FAS Russia: challenges and prospects”; and online tests with practical tasks.
The winners will be determined by 31 July. The names of the winners will be published on FAS web-site http://emc.fas.gov.ru/ on 10 August 2020.
The first special session of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in “Artek” was in December 2010. 25 schoolchildren participated. Young “trustbusters” attended lecturers about competition, cartels, advertising, and master-classes designed to develop leadership skills, ability to give interviews and worked on the appearance side for TV camera.
