FAS IS DECREASING ЕРУ PAYMENT FOR RETURNING RAILWAY TICKETS TO A SYMBOLIC 1 RUBLE

24-04-2020 | 11:15

The order will come into effect upon registering at the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation

Currently, the maximum fee for returning rail tickets is 210 Rubles 60 kopeks. With indexing the FAS-approved tariff, the fee will be 2 Rubles 13 kopeks.

Due to numerous complaints from individuals about high fees, “Russian Railways”, the “Federal Passenger Company” and “Grand Service” were recommended to abolish the fee during the pandemic. Since a lot of public events are abolished for the summer period and the timeframe of leisure and movement restrictions for the population is unpredictable, it was decided to set the minimum fee until the situation is normalized.
