THE JOINT FAS-AEB WORKING GROUP ON RISK SHARING TO HOLD THE 1ST MEETING

The Federal Antimonopoly Service together with the Association of European Businesses (AEB) will hold the first meeting of the Working Group to discuss risk-sharing issues.

During the meeting of the Working Group, the participants will discuss such issues as medical products supply to citizens in emergency situations and epidemics, issues of implementation of pilot projects to introduce a mechanism for medical products supply of citizens based on the principle of risk sharing and their criteria.

The Working Group includes members of FAS, as well as representatives of pharmaceutical companies that are part of the AEB - Novartis, Novonordisk, AstraZeneka, Biocad, GE, Merck, Servier, GSK, Stada, Sanofi.

The proposal to create such the Working Group on risk-sharing was initiated in June 2020, within the annual briefing of Igor Artemiev, Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, with AEB member companies, held in the format of a video conference.
