FAS-AEB HELD THE FIRST MEETING OF WORKING GROUP TO DISCUSS CRITERIA FOR RISK SHARING
On October 19, 2020, the experts of the FAS and the Association of European Business (AEB) held the first meeting of the Working Group to discuss the criteria for risk sharing (hereinafter referred to as the Working Group).
The proposal to create such the Working Group on risk-sharing was initiated in June 2020, within the annual briefing of Igor Artemiev, Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, with AEB member companies.
During the meeting, the members of the Working Group discussed the position of the FAS on the implementation of pilot projects to introduce a mechanism for medicine provision of citizens based on the principle of risk sharing and their criteria. The participants also considered the features of the Federal Law of the Russian Federation dated April 05, 2013 No. 44-FZ, as well as the conditions and recommendations of the FAS Russia for the implementation of pilot projects to introduce a mechanism for medicine provision of citizens based on the principle of risk sharing.
The Working Group includes members of the FAS, as well as pharmaceutical companies that are part of the AEB - Novonordisk, Astrazeneka, Biocad, Merck, Servier, GSK, Stada.
