The FAS Russia has issued a ruling to terminate anticompetitive agreements

On September 10, 2019 the FAS Russia filed a case against Corning Inc, Corning CIS LLC and four Russian optical cable factories on the  grounds of violation of the Part 4 of the Article 11 of the Law on Protection of Competition.

The company entered into agreements with these factories that bind them over purchasing optical fiber from Corning.

Based on the results of consideration of this case, the FAS Russia recognized these agreements as anticompetitive, and Corning Inc, Corning CIS LLC as well as four Russian optical cable factories were found guilty for violating the antimonopoly legislation [1]. In this regard, a ruling was issued to the organizations to terminate anticompetitive agreements.
