CONTROL OVER MEDICAL DEVICES IS A PRIORITY AREA OF COOPERATION BETWEEN FAS AND AEB
On November 19, 2020, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, together with the Association of European Business (AEB), held a regular meeting of the Working Group on the development of competition in the field of circulation of medical devices.
During the meeting, the members of the Working Group discussed the position of the FAS Russia on the limitation of competition in terms of registration of medical devices, as well as the specifics of the Federal Law dated July 31, 2020 No. 265-FZ “On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation”.
The Working Group includes members of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, as well as companies that are part of the AEB - LLC PHILIPS, Canon Medical Systems, GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers.
The Working Group was established in 2019 and up to today has been regularly holding its meetings.
