The Court of Cassation confirmed the legality of the fine imposed on the company.

It should be reminded that in February 2019, the FAS Russia recognized Firm Euroservice CJSC and Mega Pharma LLC as violating the antimonopoly legislation. The companies supported prices at auctions for the supply of medicines and medical devices to organizations of the state health system.

According to the FAS Russia, the amount of income of the cartel participants amounted to more than 800 million rubles. The legality of the decision of the Antimonopoly Authority was confirmed by the Arbitration Court of Moscow district. Companies were subject to turnover-based fines.

The Court, when considering the complaint of Mega Pharma LLC against the decision of the FAS Russia, confirmed the legality, fairness and adequacy of the fine imposed on the cartel participant.

The second participant of the cartel - Firm Euroservice CJSC - paid the full amount of the fine.
