THE FEDERAL AGENCY FOR TOURISM HAS AMENDED THE PROCEDURE FOR DISTRIBUTION OF GRANTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN RUSSIA
To ensure an objective and transparent procedure for tender evaluation for grants, the Federal Agency for Tourism has amended the tender regulations for the provision of grants for the domestic and inbound tourism development
Rostourism has implemented the warning of the FAS Russia, amending the tender regulations for the provision of grants for NGOs and entrepreneurial initiatives for the development of domestic and inbound tourism.
Its implementation will ensure equal conditions for the distribution of government grants for the development of tourism in Russia, which are a prerequisite for the protection of competition and, as a result, improve the quality and availability of tourist services.
The amendments to the regulations have entered into force and will be further applied by the Federal Agency for Tourism for subsequent grant programs within the framework of the approved national tourism project.
In particular, the amendments to the tender regulations are aimed at increasing the transparency of the tender procedures and timely identification of possible conflicts of interests of the members of the tender committee. The updated regulations clearly define the procedure for consideration and evaluation of tenders by the tender committee. The new version of the regulations also provides that the results of the tender evaluation will be published with an indication of the points allocated to each tender.
Thus, the violations found by the FAS Russia were eliminated by Rostourism.
In general, the joint work of the FAS Russia and the Federal Agency for Tourism to eliminate violations will make the conditions of the grant program more business-friendly and answer the purposes of the development of the tourism industry.
