FAS AND MINISTRY OF ENERGY DISCUSS MINIMUM VOLUME OF COAL FOR SALE ON THE EXCHANGE

With the participation of the business community, authorities are working on a draft order on approval of the minimum volume of coal for sale on the exchange

The issue of together work of the FAS Russia and the Ministry of Energy of Russia with the participation of the business community on a draft order "On approval of the minimum volume of black and brown coal, anthracite for sale on the exchange and the requirements for exchange trading, during which black and brown coal, anthracite transactions are concluded by an economic entity occupying a dominant position in particular goods markets" was discussed at the meeting of the coal subcommittee of the Exchange Committee of the FAS Russia.

In accordance with the draft order, the minimum volume of coal for sale on the exchange will be 10% of the total sales volume. We are talking about the coal of ranks B, D, DG, G, GZh, Zh, SS, T, A, including brown coal and anthracite. It is expected that the minimum volume of sales on the exchange will be calculated from the monthly total volume of sales of coal ranks on the territory of the country by all dominant economic entities, including persons of the same group with such entities.
