The document was signed by the Head of FAS Russia Maxim Shaskolskiy and the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Sergeev.

The agreement provides for the involvement of the scientific community in solving various issues in the field of competition development, joint expert work on improving the competitiveness of the Russian economy, countering anti-competitive practices in cross-border markets, information and analytical work on the development of a system for preventing violations of antimonopoly law.

“Today’s agreement is a new stage of long-term cooperation between the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the Russian Academy of Sciences. We are expanding joint scientific, expert and analytical work, including on the implementation of the National Plan for the Development of Competition in the Russian Federation for 2021-2025”, Maxim Shaskolskiy said.

“We discussed a number of topical issues that concern our scientists and are related to competition issues in the distribution of state tasks and in determining the parameters of the success of projects”, Alexander Sergeev commented.
