COMPETITION AUTHORITIES OF RUSSIA AND CHINA SIGNED AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION
The document was signed on behalf of the countries' Governments by the Head of the FAS Russia – Mr. Maxim Shaskolsky and the Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China – Mr. Zhang Gong.
The Agreement provides the creation of a legal framework for the interaction of competition authorities in law enforcement activities in relation to economic entities of the two countries, as well as third countries whose activities affect the state of competition in Russia and China.
It should be noted that the exchange of information on the impact of digitalization on the state of competition in national markets, as well as the assessment of the state of competition in them remains one of the current priorities of the antimonopoly regulators of the two states.
