FAS INITIATED A CASE AGAINST MTS
In January 2022 MTS PJSC increased the cost of cellular services for more than 28 million subscribers by an average of 9.5%, justifying by increasing its costs. At the same time, the company did not provide the authority with evidence of the growth of expenses in the amount sufficient to justify an increase in tariffs.
According to FAS raising tariffs in the absence of technological, economic and other justification violates the interests of consumers.
The authority initiated an antimonopoly case against MTS PJSC*.
