FAS IS CONDUCTING 217 INSPECTIONS IN THE REGIONS REGARDING THE INCREASE OF RETAIL PRICES

14-03-2022 | 15:17

This is what Maxim Shaskolsky, the Head of FAS was talking about during his speech in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. He noted that now 217 inspections have been initiated, 22 warnings and cautions have been issued, including public statements aimed at creating rush demand.

FAS notes that monitoring is conducted in relation to the entire distribution chain - from the manufacturer to retail chains. In case of detection of violations of antimonopoly legislation the Authority immediately takes measures - from warnings to the initiation of antimonopoly cases.

We remind you that there is a “hotline” through which citizens can report the facts of overcharging not only for products in online retail stores, but also for other goods and services. At the moment, such “hotlines” operate on the websites of all regional offices of FAS.
