FAS AND OPORA RUSSIA DISCUSSED BUSINESS SUPPORT ISSUES
The Head of the Authority noted that the protection of the interests of small and medium–sized businesses is one of the priorities in the work of FAS. FAS actively interacts with the business community, including the framework of the work of the Public Council under FAS and the industry expert councils.
In the current economic conditions, FAS considers one of its tasks to reduce administrative pressure on the business. In particular, for this purpose, the Authority suspended scheduled inspections of entrepreneurs in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation № 336 of March 10, 2022.
At the same time, FAS encourages the business community to adhere to responsible, socially oriented market behavior, to avoid product shortages and to respect the priority of supplies for the domestic market.
Also, the Head of FAS invited entrepreneurs to interact more actively with the regional bodies of FAS, including on issues of clarifying legislation and protecting the rights of entrepreneurs. According to him, self-regulation of markets and pre-trial dispute resolution is in the interests of both entrepreneurs and consumers.
At the end of the meeting, Maxim Shaskolskiy thanked the President of the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business OPORA RUSSIA, Alexander Kalinin, for long-term cooperation and expert assessment of the Authority's initiatives. FAS will take into account the proposals voiced by entrepreneurs and work them out as part of expert groups.
