FAS REVEALED A ROAD CARTEL IN THE KHABAROVSK AND PRIMORSKY REGIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF 9.1 BILLION RUBLES

The violation was revealed at the auction for the construction and maintenance of highways within the framework of the implementation of the national project “Safe and Quality Highways”

FAS decided that Stroydorservice LLC and Khabarovskdorsnab LLC violated the Law on Protection of Competition*.

FAS revealed a cartel between Stroydorservice LLC and Khabarovskdorsnab LLC, aimed at maintaining prices at auctions for the construction and maintenance of highways in Primorsky (Vladivostok) and Khabarovsk regions. As a result of the implementation of the anticompetitive agreement, the organizations concluded state contracts in the amount of 9,143,151,806 rubles.

Cartel is punishable by turnover fines**. FAS will send materials to the enforcement authorities to resolve the issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 178 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
