29-04-2022 | 10:08

In July 2021, FAS satisfied the application of Tander JSC (Magnit retail chain) for the acquisition of the Dixie retail chain and Megamart stores, subject to be fully complied with the Authority’s Instruction, which provides for a number of strict limitations and requirements. The organization is obliged to report quarterly on the fulfillment of the requirements of the Authority.

Thus, according to the latest report received from Tander JSC, the stores of the retail chain have complied with voluntarily undertaken obligations to establish zero margins from the purchase price of certain items of a number of “first-price goods”*. The FAS Russia will continue to monitor the execution of all points of the regulation by retail chains.

For reference:

*These items include chicken meat (dressed chicken, broiler) according to state standard GOST 31962-2013, pasteurized milk with 2.5-3.2% fat content according to state standard GOST 31450-2013, bread and bakery products made of wheat, rye and a mixture of rye and wheat flour with a shelf life of less than 10 days.
