ROUNDTABLE "COMPETITION AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY UNDER SANCTIONS" WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 19
A special round table on "Competition and Intellectual Property under Sanctions" will be held on April 19 as part of the XXIII Yasinskaya (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development taking place in Moscow (April 5-22, 2022).
Speakers at the event organized by the BRICS International Competition Law and Policy Center will discuss competition and intellectual property under sanctions, as well as how to balance interests of right holders and users of intellectual property rights.
The discussion will be attended by Deputy Heads of FAS Karina Taukenova and Timofey Nizhegorodtsev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Maxim Topilin, managing director of Ozon Sergey Belyakov, Wildberries CEO Tatiana Bakalchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) on intellectual property Anatoly Semenov, Professor of Law at the Higher School of Economics Vladimir Sivitsky.
The discussion will be moderated by Alexei Ivanov, Director of HSE-Skolkovo Institute of Law and Development and Director of BRICS International Competition Law and Policy Center, National Research University Higher School of Economics.
The event will be held in hybrid format - in person and online.
