20-05-2022 | 14:59

In 2021, FAS fined gas distribution organizations and their officials for infringing on the rights of citizens when connecting gas for a total of 65.3 million rubles.

The Authority issued 549 rulings on the identified violations, of which 417 – for violating the terms of the technical conditions of the contract and the procedure for calculating fees, 84 – for unjustified refusal or evasion of the conclusion of the contract, 48 – for imposing unfavorable conditions.

FAS takes immediate response measures if consumer rights are violated.

The gasification program is being implemented on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation and is designed for the widest range of residents of the regions of our country. Measures have been taken to conduct the gas pipeline to the boundaries of the land plot on a free basis. It will help to significantly increase the level of gasification of households, especially in distant regions.
