THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION HAS APPROVED A RESOLUTION TO ACCELERATE THE MODERNIZATION OF HOUSING AND COMMUNAL SERVICES

The resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation was adopted on May 30, 2022. It provides for expanding the list of conditions when FAS may decide to approve amendments to the provisions of the concession agreement.

One of the grounds may be the inclusion in such an agreement of new utility facilities that were built by other companies, but are technologically related to the objects of the concession.

The change is necessary to ensure the reliability and continuity of the supply of utility resources.

In addition, the document provides for mandatory accounting for the tariff regulation of losses of hot, potable, industrial water in centralized water supply systems during its production and transportation in an amount not exceeding the loss standards. The procedure for determining standards is being developed by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation.
