FAS PROPOSES TO REGISTER CEMENT ACQUISITION CONTRACTS ON EXCHANGE FROM 2023

Taking into account volatility of the cost of building materials, this measure will provide for more accurate price indicators and prevent unfair actions of market participants

It should be reminded that FAS Russia is actively working on the formation of domestic indicators and their replacement of quotes generated by foreign analytical agencies. For this purpose, FAS Russia has developed a roadmap for the development of on-exchange trading. It provides for the expansion of the list of products sold on-exchange and includes timber, aquatic biological resources, petrochemical products and other goods.

According to FAS Russia, the formation of such domestic indicators will allow authorities to make decisions quickly in the current realities, apply Russian indicators during competitive procedures and conclusion of direct supply contracts.
