GOVERNMENT ADOPTED RESOLUTION REDUCING RISKS OF DISRUPTION OF CONCESSION AGREEMENTS IN CONSTRUCTION

27-06-2022 | 17:35

In particular, it concerns agreements on the construction of roads, bridges, railways, schools and other facilities

The Resolution* expanded the list of cases in which the antimonopoly body may agree to change the terms of the concession agreement. So, this will become possible with an increase in the amount of financing for the object of the concession agreement due to an increase in prices for construction resources. The measure will support concessionaires implementing projects at the regional and municipal level and reduce the risks of disruption of the execution of concession agreements.

The changes will contribute to the implementation of the priority action plan to ensure the development of the country's economy in the current conditions.

The document will enter into force on July 2, 2022.
